Powerful,
gregarious, talented Tracy Graham has been described in so
many different ways - amongst her fans she is known for her
energy, positivity as well as for her extraordinary strong
voice and great song writing talent.
Since
her teens Tracy Graham has been accepted as one of the UK's
most talented and charismatic female vocalists. As a successful
singer/songwriter and backing vocalist she has toured extensively
in the States and Europe, and is currently working on her
third solo album.
Thanks to her amazing strong soulful voice and larger than
life personality - Tracy Graham has become one of the UK's
favourite female singers, which has led her to work with many
of the country's top artists.
Tracy's
lyrics come from the heart, always direct and dynamic, creating
a unique sound - her first album Up Front featured classic
R&B with tinges of country. Don't look down, Tracy’s
second album has a gutsy, organic feel an amazingly polished,
professional work, her influences Joni Mitchell, Shawn Colvin
and Aretha Franklin shine through. This sound is partly due
to the superb and ultra credible British musicians that support
Tracy, the list reads like a who’s who in contemporary
British music. Tracy has also worked with ABC, Paul Young
and the Moody Blues amongst others.
Tracy's
interest in music began when she was only three years old,
thanks to her mother, who took Tracy to singing and dancing
classes to help her overcome her shyness - something of a
joke to those who know her. Thanks to her natural talent and
zest for life the classes worked incredibly quickly. Tracy
soon went on to join the cast of many west end musicals, such
as Annie, The Water Babies and Gone with the Wind, as well
as appearing in various TV commercials. Friends, family and
fans alike know only too well, Tracy is no shrinking violet,
she is an incredibly happy, playful and dynamic force on stage,
it would be an understatement to say this girl is a natural
performer.
